Poppy Barley featured in FLARE, September 2014

We are so excited to share the news that Poppy Barley is featured in the September 2014 issue of Canada's FLARE Magazine! In a story called, "The Shoe Fits!" by Heidi Sopinka (click the image above to expand + read), the Atelier column goes inside the offices--and minds--of some of Canada's up-and-coming designers and entrepreneurs. In June 2014, Ania B. and her business-partner husband, Tyler Stalman, drove north to Edmonton from their hometown of Calgary to photograph our office (prior to that, the photo editor at Flare asked us for a few snaps of the space... and then encouraged us to clean. We know, we know. And we did. As Kendall describes the office to Heidi, it's "creative, messy, and fun," but what better way to inspire a cleaning session than a photo shoot for a fashion magazine!). We learned so much from watching Ania and Tyler work with our boots and shoes, and the space--from their impeccable attention to detail to their true alignment of vision. What a team!
