We obsess
over style, fit, and comfort. We make products designed for everywhere you actually go. As a brand
founded by women, for women, we know real life happens on school runs, work trips, date nights,
weddings, vacations and ordinary Tuesdays.
Poppy Barley is for women who know that real luxury is a product that simply works — beautifully,
effortlessly, and on your terms. Not shoes that hurt. Not status symbols that wear you. Not a closet
full of regret.
It's 2026. Why are women still carrying backup flats?
Shoes should fit you. Revolutionary, apparently.
We start with a woman's foot. Not factory efficiencies.
The result: shoes you'll forget you're wearing.
Sizes 5–12, wide widths, calf options.

We care for people and the planet. Designed in Canada and made in family-owned Europe and Mexico, we meet the highest standards of verified social and environmental performance, transparency, and accountability.
In medieval England, when every village had a shoemaker and shoes were made just for you, cobblers used poppy seeds and barleycorns as units of measurement. One barleycorn: ⅓ of an inch. Four poppy seeds: one barleycorn.

In 2012,
sisters Justine and Kendall Barber couldn't find what they were looking for — so they built
it.
No
background in shoemaking. Just the conviction that women deserved better.
From Edmonton, Alberta, they partnered with family-owned factories to create something
different:
thoughtfully made footwear and accessories that refuse to compromise on style, comfort, or values.
More than a
decade later, that belief still guides everything we do.
Because women shouldn't have to settle.
Poppy Barley acknowledges we are located on Treaty 6 territory, traditional lands of First Nations and Métis people.
