A Summer Travel Guide To Summerland, Okanagan

2-minute read

Our Brand Experience and Product Marketing Manager, Jane Sevick, recently took a weekend trip to Summerland. And of course, she made sure to pack a pair of Summerland Heeled Sandals to strut around in while she ate, shopped, and explored this jewel of the Okanagan. Read about Jane’s must-stop spots for vacationing in the valley. Where To Shop - Summerland Sweets Summerland Sweets One of Summerland's sweetest destinations! Summerland Sweets was founded in 1962, and continues to be a staple, not only in the Okanagan, but across the nation. Located at the top of Canyon Road, you can take in the views of Summerland's beautiful lake and orchards, while exploring the shop. Make sure to come with an empty Market Tote - it will fill up fast with their delicious apricot jams and blueberry syrups! Summerland Sweets Where To Sightsee - Poplar Grove Poplar Grove With over 180 wineries stretching across the Okanagan, the valley is BC’s primary region for grape growing - which means endless amounts of wine tastings and tours! Hidden in the corner of the Lake Okanagan, just twenty minutes south of Summerland, is one of our favourites: Poplar Grove. Take in the stunning views from their outdoor patio, and enjoy a delicious and refreshing glass (or two!) of their award winning wines. A view that tastes as good as it looks! Summerland In Summerland Where To Eat - True Grain Bakery True Grain Bakery Named one of Canada’s Best Bakeries by Huffington Post, True Grain is one stop that you cannot miss when visiting Summerland. Using only fresh, organic, and local ingredients - they create the most delicious baked goods. My favourite is the to-die-for cheese twists that are guaranteed to be sold out before noon! True Grain Bakery This is the first in a series of Canadian Summer vacation guides. Keep checking back each week to see where we go to next! WIN Shoes

Belt Measuring Guide

Belt Measuring Guide

A - High-rise style:

If you plan to wear your belt around your natural waistline, wrap a measuring tape around the narrowest part of your midsection. Then, add 3” to determine your high-rise belt size.

B - Mid-rise style:

If you plan to wear your belt lower than your natural waistline, you will require a dierent size. If you have a particular pair of bottoms you intend to wear your belt with, wrap a measuring tape through the belt loops while in a relaxed position.

When wearing your belt in your preferred style, it should fasten in the middle hole. The belt will relax with wear allowing you to cinch it tighter, as needed.

If you plan to wear the belt in both the high and mid-rise styles, you have two options:

  1. Select your high-rise style and fasten it more loosely when worn in the mid-rise style.
  2. Select your mid-rise style and fasten it more tightly when worn in the high-rise style.
