Raise Her Up: Chantel Cabaj

For International Women's Day, we're partnering with DirectHer Network to celebrate women's achievements, raise awareness against bias and, and take action for equality. DirectHer Network is a women-led not-for-profit empowering Canadian women with the tools and support necessary to serve on boards.

To celebrate, we have partnered with ten remarkable women who are breaking the barriers of change and empowering more female participation in the boardroom.

Lawyer turned entrepreneur. Advocate and community builder. Mom and wife. Chantel works to make complex things easy to understand and inclusive by listening to, learning from and connecting to other people.

I Choose to Challenge:

The traditionally insular and exclusive world of board governance, because I know when thoughtfully designed and supported, diverse teams are better teams.

 

For the Future I Hope:

That our boardrooms reflect and deeply respect the rich perspectives of the communities we live in.
