Poppy Barley's Last-minute Christmas Wish List

The big Dec. 2-5 is only four days away! For all you procrastinators out there, we've compiled 10 items we'd love to see shining under the tree this Christmas. 1. Moleskine Storybook Notebook, Large | From $24: With the closing of another year comes the closing of another notebook (always Moleskine) filled with scribbles, sketches, notes and endless to-do lists. The page layout in Moleskine's large Storybook model will give us ample space to design our 2013 collections. 2. BCBGMAXAZRIA Dera Tribal Bead-Flap Clutch | $208: We may be partial to the turquoise beading (turquoise is our signature hue, lining the goat leather interiors of our Poppy Barley boots), but this clutch seems like the perfect way to accessorize a dressed-up look, or a simple tee with jeans. 3. Madshus Eon Cross-country Skis, Mountain Equipment Co-Op | $260: Our co-founder, Justine Barber, currently "dabbles" in cross country skiing and would love to own her very own pair of skis to make a routine of it during our long Canadian winters. The light-weight wood core on these skis makes for a smooth trip, whether it's a casual tour or on rolling terrain. 4. Martha Stewart Collection Wooden French Rolling Pin | From $13: T'is the season for baked goods! And we learn from the best. This odour and stain-resistant beach wood rolling pin should help us meet Martha-standards and keep our pastries perfectly puffy well into spring. 5. Urban Outfitters Black & White 5x7 Zigzag Rug | $89: If you've ever used Pinterest, you'll know that, next to the seemingly infinite amount of food imagery, photos of chevron décor are a close runner-up. We're dying to add a bold chevron patterned piece underneath a white leather desk chair that'll make us feel every bit as chic as the featured homes we so avidly pin. 6. Alice + Olivia RAQUEL Gown | $1,397: This is the place for dreams. To celebrate NYE 2013, the good times behind us and those ahead, we're coveting this drop-dead gorgeous, roaring '20s-inspired sequin gown by Alice + Olivia. 7. J.Crew Leopard-print Calf Hair Gloves | SALE $115: As far as we're concerned leopard print is always in style. This J.Crew pair is lined with silk (and on sale!), making for a whole lotta beautiful inside and out. 8. Anthropologie Angel Food Illume Boulangerie Jar | $16: Yum. This paraffin wax candle with a 35-hour burn time is scented with sweet vanilla, butter and caramel; if our holiday pastries don't work out, at least it'll smell like they did. 9. Woodlore Cedar Boot Shapers in Natural | $48: Minimize creasing and cracking in the leather of your boots with these sturdy wooden boot shapers, designed to absorb moisture and odour. Regular use of shoe shapers can extend the life of a pair of boots by as much as 30%. Sold. 10. La Mer Collections Navy Gold Bali - Rose Gold Case With Turquoise Crystal Chain | $188: Believe it or not, some of our team members have never owned a watch. If things go according to plan, their foray into adulthood may involve this wrap watch with a rose gold clock face casing, multiple jewellery chains, leather straps and turquoise (surprise!) Swarovski crystals. Time for over-the-top.
