The Read | Lifestyle Mother's Day Poll: How is nesting for your second child different from your first? April 29, 2014 2-minute read Last week, in celebration of our Mother's Day Event you met Lindsey + Weston. This week, meet Christine (31), little Alice (2), and Baby #2 ("pictured" at 33 weeks). Christine is a project manager and designer for a motion graphic design studio, and she's also the blogger behind Just Bella - a source for design and lifestyle inspo that we adore (you should probably follow her on Instagram right now!). We were so excited to see Christine's Poppy Barley boots order come in a few weeks ago, and thought she and her growing family might be the perfect fit for our Mother's Day shoot at Stephanie Passuto's kids-only studio. Scroll down to see more photos (those PB flats look good on you, Alice!), find out how Christine answered our Mother's Day Poll, and share YOUR answer to this week's question in the comments section! How is nesting for your second child different from your first? "It has been completely different this time around! Life is completely different this time around. With my first, I read all the books, bought 'all the things' and put all my time and energy into creating the perfect little nursery space for our babe. I had no idea what I was really getting myself into so I wanted to make sure I had all my bases covered. I also had the luxury of napping, shopping alone, and putting my feet up when I needed to (oh man, that was nice). To say things are a bit different with my second pregnancy is a bit of an understatement. Life moves at lightning speed chasing after a toddler all day - there's just no time to nap or relax! I already have most of the things we need which is good because all I've bought for this baby so far is a cute pair of shoes (priorities, right)! I think when it's your first child you are preparing yourself for such a drastic life change that the need to feel prepared is so strong. I'm much more easy going about prepping for this babe and am focusing on soaking up as much time with Alice as I can. Life is about to be even more crazy and tiring, but I'm already tired so bring it on!" - Christine, 31 Your turn...
