Swamped with
measurement appointments, measuring tape requests, and new orders, we put a call for out for a Customer Care intern in late October to assist
Breanne with the (welcomed, of course!) overload. We had lots of applicants. We held a dozen interviews. The stand-out candidate: Danielle, a Grant MacEwan student taking her Bachelor of Commerce degree with a major in Management.
Curious about how the interview went down? We fell for Danielle's personality right away. Contagious enthusiasm, a fierce work ethic, and an awesome attention to detail are all qualities necessary to ensure the measurements she takes for our eager customers are accurate and trusted. While it seems too good to be true, her personality is not the only reason we felt she was a perfect match for Poppy Barley; her ideals and beliefs in social entrepreneurship also align with
ours. She made it clear during her interview that she is passionate about companies with strong brand recognition that in return create awareness of neglected areas of the world and challenge business practices to be more ethically and globally minded. (See? Perfect.)
