Developing the Poppy Barley Flats Collection

It’s the fourth and final instalment of our insider-series, Creating Comfortable Shoes for Women: the Poppy Barley Flats Collection. (here's Pt. I, Pt. II, and Pt. III), so read on and start dreaming up the design of your perfect flat. It’s about to become reality. Hardware Take a peak at our hardware supplier (in a glittering room that truly is a shrine to adornment) and the last stop made by our product development team in León in January. This is a great place to get inspiration for a collection. In our case, we loved the hardware foxes, snakes and skulls we found, so we added them at the last minute, on the spot, as a new custom design option for spring. The Final Step: Be Your Own Stylist This is where you come in. We’ve created our inaugural Flats Collection with the same fit-oriented model as our made to measure boots, but due to the nature of flats, you get to be a little more creative with the design this time around. Love cute animal hardware? Add it to your slippers. Want your flats to be edgy? Choose from our studded heel, skull hardware, or heel zipper option. Design a pair of Mary Jane’s (one of this season’s hottest styles) using colour combinations that reflect your personality. You can customize the Mary-Jane (with removable ankle straps), the Feminine Slipper, the Classic Point and the Contemporary Ballet flat with the following options:

• Zipper and studded heel details
• Wild animal hardware
• Crystal toe hardware
• Colour blocking options, which lend both an edgy or feminine side to any shoe in the collection.

Retailing at $165, with a wide variety of design detail options, our Poppy Barley Flats are fun, vibrant, comfortable and one-of-a-kind. They can be anything you want them to be.
