Lot 34 is a small design and build studio and design-forward vintage and home goods shop located in the Highlands neighbourhood of Edmonton, AB on Treaty no.6 Territory. They began with the common goal of creating beautiful spaces and celebrating well-made goods. At their shop, you can find beautifully-curated vintage homewares, goods from local Edmonton creators, and collaborative collections from local talents (such as Soap So Co and Glass Bookshop). Looking to renovate your space? They do that too. Design and Build consults are by appointment Monday through Saturday.

Their clothing is designed in Canada and ethically made in China by choice suppliers who pride themselves on their sustainable business standards. Buno Design is a unique handcrafted sustainable jewelry brand, designed and made in Canada. Originally founded by three sisters in the UK as a modest sustainable clothing brand, Buno Design has since shifted to sustainable handmade jewelry. Every season, Buno Design releases a sustainable collection that is made of recycled and vintage resources. By repurposing vintage and salvaged materials, they reduce fashion waste and environmental impact while giving jewelry new life.

Plum Home + Design: Located in Edmonton's Oliver Exchange building, Plum is full of beautiful things for your home and giftables for everyone on your Christmas list like this gingham picnic throw and these etched glass ornaments. The Designer and owner, Jenna, just launched her own furniture line!

United Cycle: A locally owned multi-sport store that has literally everything you need to play this winter, such as skates, toboggans, snow helmets, and more!

Kendall's Favourites

bluboho: A fine jewelry brand crafted in Toronto using ethically sourced sourced, raw and refined jewelry pieces. bluboho pieces are designed to mark moments. My top picks are this beautiful ring and this bracelet. Want to experience the jewelry in person? Poppy Barley is hosting bluboho for a pop-up in our Southgate location beginning in December!

Pura Botanicals: A natural skincare and green beauty line based in Edmonton. The owner, Lane, and her team, infuse magic into each small, handcrafted batch. Their Winter's Eve hand cream is released only around Christmas time, so you'll want to stock up on this incredible hand cream!

Forge 53 designs and builds architectural metalwork and furniture in Edmonton. This incredible talented team is responsible for many of the fixtures in Poppy Barley stores. For the home, I love Forge 53's collection of mirrors, Lumsden chairs, and this concrete leather coffee table. 

For cards and stocking stuffers, the joyful Justine Ma is the best. My favourites for chocolate are Jacek Chocolate or cochu. For kids, the Run Wild Play Kits or Sweetness Colouring Cookies.
