I really really loved these sandals for the first day I wore them. After that, the front part of the sole started peeling off on both shoes, and after a couple of longer walks the foot pads are splitting. I love the look but the quality is just not there for this pair. Being an expensive pair of sandals I was expecting more.
These are the most comfortable sandals. They look so good and are walkable for many hours. The olive colour goes with everything. And…..sounds crazy but they also smell so good! The homemade leather smell and feel are just great.
These shoes are amazing and very comfortable. Unfortunately, though, the sides of the sandal started come apart after one month of wearing them. I am a little disappointed and curious as to why they turned out the way they did considering how all my other shoes stayed in great shape? The bottoms are like pancakes now. It’s almost as if they look squished with the sides bursting outwards and I only weigh 130 pounds. I think I will have to be careful when buying this type of sandal in the future.
This shoe is so comfortable and the leather is buttery soft. Unfortunately the sole is already splitting in several places so I don’t see them lasting beyond this season.
I am currently wearing these sandals for a trip around Europe. The leather on the top where the straps are is lovely and durable. The toe piece where the leather connects to the base is a bit fragile - if you’re clumsy like me walking on cobblestone and bonk the front of the sandal here and there, you’ll see it doesn’t take much for the front of the sandal to show obvious separation of the fabric from the sole and the brown/ sand colour underneath shows through quite easily and looks very worn quickly. I think the colour will be disguisable with some black permanent marker but the texture is also altered. The back strap on my left heel for some reason also rubs severely and I’ve sustained blisters both times, but can continue to wear them with a bandaid. This doesnt happen on my right foot.
