What Information We Collect

When you make a purchase with us
If you purchase products through our Services, we may request Personal Information to facilitate the transaction so we deliver you your product(s). Personal information that we collect may include contact information such as your name, billing and shipping address, telephone number, and email address. Purchases made through the Poppy Barley website are processed through Stripe. All personal and credit card information transmitted is secured by 256 Bit Secure Socket Layer encryption. Poppy Barley does not store personal credit card information on our servers. All personal contact information transmitted to us will not be shared, sold or solicited.
Communications That You Initiate With Us
At Poppy Barley we do everything to provide you an exceptional experience overall. If you contact us through email, phone, social media, or by some other means (through our Services or Third Party Services) we may keep a record of your contact information and your correspondence to keep for later reference and to better serve you and to continually improve our service. When we send you email correspondence, we may track how frequently you open them and whether or not you are clicking through the links to better your email experiences with us.
Third Party Services
Our customers are active across different platforms and services, both online and offline. When you interact with us on other services, we are not responsible for the information that Third Party Services use. Our Services does not currently link up or connect to an account with Third Party Services, however we do operate on Third Party Services. We do not share your Personal Information with Third Party Services. However, note that there may be links in our Site that may lead to Third Party Services.
How Poppy Barley Uses Your Information

Poppy Barley, like many businesses, sometimes hires other companies to perform certain business-related functions. If we employ another company to perform a function of this nature; we provide the company only with the information they need to perform their specific function. Using your Personal Information WITHOUT Consent
There are times where we can use your Personal Information without consent. The information is generally used for law enforcement and we are bound by law to provide such information to those with authority.
Law Enforcement and Legal Disclosure
Poppy Barley may disclose your personal information to a government institution that has asserted its lawful authority to obtain the information of where Poppy Barley has reasonable grounds to believe the information could be useful in the investigation of unlawful activity, or to comply with a subpoena or warrant or an order made by a court, person or body with jurisdiction to compel the production of information, or to comply with court rules regarding the production of records and information, or to Poppy Barley’s legal counsel. As per The Digital Privacy Act, Poppy Barley can disclose information without consent to another organization in certain circumstances. We will only disclose your information without your consent if the knowledge or consent of the disclosure would compromise the investigation or the ability to prevent, detect or suppress the fraud.
Business transactions are defined in The Digital Privacy Act and include the sale, purchase or acquisition of a business, a merger or amalgamation of two or more, organizations or the lease of a company’s asset and any other prescribed arrangement between two or more organizations to conduct a business activity.
If there is a prospective business transaction between Poppy Barley and other organizations, we can use and disclose your Personal Information ONLY if it is necessary to decide whether to proceed with or complete the transaction. The organization that is receiving your Personal Information will enter into an agreement to use or disclose the information for the sole purpose of the transaction, to protect it, and to return or destroy the information if the business transaction does not proceed.
In the event that a business transaction is completed between Poppy Barley and another organization, you will be notified that your Personal Information has been transferred to a new owner.
