Bootology: Explore our Leathers

At Poppy Barley, we chose all of the finest materials to create your boots. (Because, what’s the point of wearing boots that finally fit unless they're beautiful, too?) For our exterior leather, we choose AA grade cow leather produced with a traditional Italian vegetable tanning process. Our leather is soft, with little visible grain and medium shine and stiffness. We also decided to make all our boots fully lined in a super soft and super fun signature turquoise goat leather. For exterior colors, we started with three – a classic black, a rich-luxe cognac and a fresh light kaki brown. As we grow, we’re eager to add more! We’ve heard so far brownstone (rich chocolate brown) and caramel are in demand. We're dreaming of oxblood, navy suede, a soft buttery camel and a neutral tan.
