My new favorite casual boots

These boots are super comfortable. There was no break-in required.i typically do not buy multiple pairs but I’m considering another pair in a different color. I am thrilled that Poppy Barley is a local, sustainable, and ethical company that actually carries sizes that fit me although you need to size up. You have my support!

Love but may need to size up

I love these boots. After finding the correct size, they are very comfortable and didn't need any break in time. I am typically a 6-6.5 but had to size up to a 7 because they were too narrow. Never had an issue with shoes being too narrow before and wouldn't say I have wide feet. But the 7's fit well.

Classy boot that can be dressed up with work pants or jeans

Needed to purchase an 8.5 though my regular shoe size is always an 8 but it is a nice looking boot. Half size up recommended.

Classy & Comfy!

Another great pair of Poppy Barley boots. I love the sleek look of these due to the slim and slightly higher ankle fit, squared toe and black block heel. I use them when I want something a little dressier than my heeled Chelsea boots. Also super comfortable due to the heel height. Overall, great boots!

Measure using your own band ring.

  1. Choose a band ring that properly fits the intended finger.
  2. Measure the inside diameter of an existing ring with a ruler. Record in millimetres (mm).
  3. Use the chart below. If the ring falls between two sizes, we recommend ordering the larger size.

Tips for Measuring ring size

You want your ring to be comfortable; tight enough so it won’t fall off, but loose enough to slide over your knuckle with some resistance.

Finger size changes depending on the time of day and the weather. For the best results, measure your finger size:

  1. At the end of the day and when your fingers are warm (fingers are smaller in the early morning and when cold).
  2. Measure finger size 3 to 4 times to eliminate an erroneous reading.

Temperature is Key

Don’t measure when your body temperature is either too cold or too hot. A cold finger shrinks while a hot finger expands, causing can inaccurate reading. Only measure when fingers are at room temperature. Also, don’t measure immediately after exercising.

When Two Sizes Fit

If you’re torn between two sizes, always go with the larger one.

Big Knuckles can affect your size

If your knuckle is a lot larger than the base of your finger, you may need to go up a half size.

Ring Sizes in Canada

Women’s rings typically range from sizes 3 to 9. The most commonly purchased women’s ring sizes at So Pretty range from sizes 5 to 8 with sizes 6 to 7 being the most popular ring sizes.

Tips for buying the ring as a surprise

Borrow another ring from the person you wish to surprise and use the ring’s measurements on the first page to determine its size. We recommend measuring with a plain band. Please make sure beforehand that the ring you are purchasing can be resized.

For Best Results, measure a plain, narrow band

Extra wide band styles tend to run slightly small. If your borrowed ring has a narrower shaft than the one you wish to purchase, you may wish to order a ring size larger than the normal size worn.

The Belt length corresponds to the length of the belt from the buckle to the middle hole.

Belt Length Chart

When wearing the belt in your preferred position, you should comfortably sit in the middle hole. The belt will relax with wear allowing you to cinch it tighter.

If you would like to wear the same belt on your waist and hips, you will either find it tighter or looser depending if you go with your larger or smaller size.
