Express shipping options (Xpresspost and Priority) don’t apply to made-to-order items. All made-to-order items qualify for free standard shipping as their retail price is always $250 or higher.

Order Cut-Off Times

Orders placed Monday to Friday before our shipping cut-off time of 12pm MST will be shipped the same day. All orders placed after the cut-off time on Friday will be shipped the following Monday. Orders placed on weekends or holidays will be processed the next business day.

All orders are subject to availability and credit authentication. During sale and holiday periods, additional processing time may be required.

Please allow an extra 3 business days for products being monogrammed.

For Made-to-Order products the shipping time is in addition to the time required to handcraft your footwear. Express shipping options (Xpresspost and Priority) don’t apply to made-to-order items. All made-to-order items qualify for free standard shipping as their retail price is always $250 or higher.

Duties & Taxes

Prices displayed on the website do not include taxes. When you proceed to purchase your order, sales tax (where applicable) and shipping charges will be calculated on the total value of merchandise, and will be displayed on the Order Summary page.

No additional duty charges will apply to Canadian orders!

Products shipped to the United States may be subject to duties and taxes. Please email concierge@poppybarley.com to find out which products have duty. You are responsible for import duties.

Timelines for Made-to-Order Footwear

Our order timelines to handcraft made-to-order footwear are:

  • 6 to 8 weeks for tall boots
  • 4 to 6 weeks for flats, ankle boots and men’s shoes

Plus shipping. You will receive a shipping email notification with a tracking number when your handcrafted shoes have shipped.


Delivery FAQs

Can I change my delivery address?

Due to restrictions with Canada Post, after you place an order, your delivery address cannot be changed. Please make sure your address is correct!

I ordered items with different delivery timelines – will they ship together?

If you ordered both an in-stock item (eg. in-stock footwear, handbags, and accessories) and a made-to-order item, your in-stock items will ship out within 1-2 business days and your made-to-order item will ship out separately following our usual delivery timelines for handcrafted footwear.

If you ordered two custom items with different delivery timelines, they will ship together following the delivery time of the longer item.

I was sent a tracking number but there are no updates on Canada Post.

Please allow for 24 hours from when you receive your tracking number for your package to be entered into the Canada Post system before you start tracking your package.

My order was marked as delivered but I did not receive it.

If your order is marked as delivered, but you have not received it please contact us at concierge@poppybarley.com as soon as possible. We recommend checking with your neighbours in the event it was miss delivered.

We will initiate a loss investigation with Canada Post. An investigation can take up to three weeks and involves a phone interview before we are able to replace lost merchandise.

Poppy Barley is not responsible for losses reported more than two weeks after the Shipping Confirmation email so please contact us promptly!
